Book recommendations: Bible Study
As a way to share my love of reading and learning, I am going to start giving lists of my top 10 books in different categories. In this edition, I will cover books based on Bible study. It is heavy with New Testament resources because that is my area of expertise.

- How to Read the Bible for All Its Worth by Gordon Fee and Douglas Stuart. Great starting point for anyone interested in studying the Bible on a deeper level.
2. The Big Book of Bible Difficulties by Norman Geisler – This is an essential tool for answering those tough questions on sticky passages.
3. New International Dictionary of New Testament Theology: Abridged Edition – Verlyn D. Verbrugge – This is a super resource at a reasonable price for putting together theological concepts in the New Testament.
4. Zondervan Handbook to the Bible: Fifth Edition – This is a good practical handbook that covers historical and cultural contexts.
5. The New Testament in Its World: An Introduction to the History, Literature, and Theology of the First Christians N.T. Wright and Michael Bird. This is a recent release that has become an essential tool for me in Bible study.
